Green Group

Green Group was offered in our Modern World History class as a semester long extra credit opportunity. The idea of it was to get students ready for the honors courses that are offered junior and senior year but also to give students the option to learn more than just what we were doing in class. These green group meetings were every other week and they alternated between a historical reading, which we had to take notes on and have a class discussion about, and reading different books, which we would take quizzes on. Over the course of the semester we read The Picture of Dorain Gray by Oscar Wilde, The Catcher in The Rye by J.D Salinger, and1984 by George Orwell.
