Our most recent project was the Greek Theater Play Project. In this project we learned how to write a play, how to take something from writing to a real stage with a real audience, and how to communicate with different adults in a professional way. This project started with 12 plays in a rough draft form, from there we slowly narrowed it down to six plays and then from there we chose one final play to produce as a class. These plays were all written, directed, and acted in by students. Once the final play was picked all students were given a job. These jobs ranged from the director to the marketing crew. I was a part of the marketing crew, specifically the awards and panelists manager. I reached out to local playwrights to come judge the plays that our four classes were putting on. I also created the ballots and ordered and managed the trophies.
