Question: What are you most surprised by during your first week of internship and why? Post an image that shows what surprises you.

Today I attended a health fair with the American Diabetes Association. When I heard about this event I thought I would be attending with other ADA employees but then found out that it was just going to be me and another ADA volunteer. This was really surprising to me because I didn't feel that I knew enough information about diabetes to be educating the convention goers. While I was very nervous going into the event this morning I do feel like I answered questions well and represented the ADA in a way that they would be proud of. I have already learned so much in this first week of internship both about diabetes and about myself and I am really excited to keep attending health fairs and diabetes prevention meetings.
